Often I drift off and wish that we could’ve worked out. That every day we could’ve gotten by on each others smiles and trying to find our place in the world together.
We were two people that truly cared about each other who were lucky enough to meet at such an early point in both of our lives. We were both innocent. We were both kind-hearted with the best intentions. And that is why I can’t help but dwell on all these thoughts.
We really and truly deserved one another, and I hope you know that.
